About Nasruddin Islamic School

WELCOME

“Every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you is responsible for his flock…”
( Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 893; Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1829 )

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to our high school’s website.

As an Islamic high school, we are guided by the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the timeless principles of Islam.

Our mission is not only to impart knowledge, but to nurture character, faith, and resilience in every learner entrusted to our care.

In an increasingly complex and fast-changing world, the need for an Islamic high school has never been more pressing. Our youth are navigating challenges related to identity, purpose, and direction. Here, at our school, we offer a sanctuary of purposeful learning—where Islamic principles guide not only what we teach,
but how we live and grow together as a community.

We are proud to be a values-driven school. Our core values—honesty, fairness, excellence in Islamic and academic achievement, unity, respect, and compassion; form the heartbeat of our ethos. These are not just words; they are lived experiences within our classrooms, corridors, and every learner interaction.

These values prepare our learners not only for academic success, but for life itself—enabling them to face the world with confidence, integrity, and a deep connection to their Creator.

Our commitment to holistic education means that we develop each learner in all dimensions: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially.
Through integrated learning that balances Islamic studies with a robust academic curriculum, we aim to cultivate young adults who are thoughtful, principled, and purpose-driven.
Every learner is a unique amanah (trust), and we see it as our duty to nurture that trust with excellence and sincerity.

By providing an environment that is nurturing yet challenging, disciplined yet compassionate, faith-centered yet forward-looking, we aim to raise a generation that will benefit themselves, their families, their communities, and the Ummah at large.

I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our vision, our programs, and the vibrant life of our high school community. More importantly, I invite you to become part of a journey where Islamic values and educational excellence walk hand in hand.

Wa Billahi Tawfiq.

Under the Guidance of the Divine Grace and Mercy shown by Allah (SWT).
A group of Brothers established an Independent Islamic school that opened in January 1998 with 24 enthusiastic grade 8 learners and 2 teaching staff in a rented madressa complex.  Since those early days, the school has grown into a vibrant, Allah conscious High school of 134 learners, 18 teaching staff and 3 support staff.

Nasruddin Islamic School is a school with an Islamic Ethos.  Its main aim is to create ALLAH CONSCIOUSNESS

Man has been created by Allah to worship and recognise Him, and everything in the universe,
such as the hilāl (crescent) for the calculation of time, ocean tides control, light at night etc. and the earth (for its resources, increase) have been made subservient to man.

We are guided by Allah’s final revealed book, The Qur’an, as well as the Sunnah of the final Prophet Muhammad (SAW), through whose practical example we find,

Finally, our focus of attention and concern is for the entire mankind (the world) so that our children may become not self-orientated but community-orientated servants of Allah until death, Inshā-Allah.  The school colours are green and white.

At Nasruddin Islamic School we strive to please Allah by establishing His Laws
and the Sunnah of His Messenger, Nabi Muhammad (SAW)
and remembering Allah while acquiring knowledge.
